Banquet Sous Chef

Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Job Summary As a Chef, you will ensure client and customer service satisfaction is attained by providing culinary resources and support. You may be responsible for managing the departments scheduling, discipline, and/or hiring. You may assist the Executive Chef and/or Sous Chef in developing new menus, recipes, and ordering. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic, entrepreneurial Culinary professional. Key Responsibilities Responsible for the preparation and execution of high-volume banquet and catering events. Supervise and direct culinary staff during banquet events. Ensure all food is prepared and presented according to company standards. Maintain proper food safety, sanitation, and HACCP procedures. Monitor food quality, temperatures, portion sizes, and presentation. Assist with ordering, inventory management, and proper food storage. Coordinate with the banquet and catering teams to ensure smooth event execution. Help manage staffing and kitchen workflow during events. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment. Perform other culinary and operational duties as needed. Qualifications Positive attitude and strong work ethic. 3–5 years of banquet and event culinary experience. Customer-focused, with a friendly and outgoing personality and a genuine interest in providing excellent service. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, and Salesforce.
