Health Information Management Coordinator
Virtual Vocations Inc
Coordinating daily work activities in document processing and chart analysis, the full-time Health Information Management Coordinator will manage staff workflows, monitor incoming volumes, and ensure data integrity while working in a remote/hybrid environment within the UnityPoint Health footprint. Key responsibilities Schedules and coordinates staff for onsite and remote workflows related to health information management Monitors daily incoming volume and escalates issues to management as necessary Provides training and education to HIM employees, maintaining documentation of staff training Required qualifications High School graduate or GED equivalent Minimum of two years of experience in healthcare Valid driver's license for work-related driving Completion of Medical Terminology course preferred Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) certification preferred
