Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work required
• Valid Michigan state licensure as a Social Worker
• Direct experience working with K-12 students in a school environment
• Exceptional clinical assessment and behavior intervention skills
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially when managing regulatory plans and documentation

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social-emotional support and crisis intervention to K-12 students
• Serve as the school’s 504 Plan Coordinator, overseeing plan implementation and compliance
• Develop and carry out behavioral interventions tailored to student needs
• Collaborate closely with educators, staff, and families to create effective support strategies
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, sharing insights to support holistic student growth
• Contribute to a positive school climate by promoting social-emotional learning and resilience
• Document interventions, maintain student records securely, and ensure confidentiality
