Senior Accountant

As Senior Accountant, you will ensure successful and accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings. Must be highly organized, attentive to detail, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Job Description Record accounting transactions in the general ledger according to policies, chart of accounts, and related accounting principles and practices. Prescribe methods of providing accounting data for various reports Collaborate with management to develop schedules, procedures, and systems to enable the timely and informative reporting of financial data Participate in determining the proper accounting treatment of complex or unusual transactions Supervise the preparation of and approve reports Ensure adequate documentation/support of transactions and reports Ensure timely consolidation of balance sheets, P&L, etc. Ensure that accounting activities are performed in line with legislation Improve and modify standard procedures Provide quarterly and yearly financial reports in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner Manage bank accounts, bank transactions, execute payments Prepare cash flow reports and forecast Manage all direct and indirect tax activities across multiple countries, including transfer pricing Profile Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum 5 years of relevant Accounting/Finance experience Technical skills : Advanced Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (Pivot Tables) Extended knowledge of GAAP Microsoft Dynamics is a PLUS Any experience in an international environment is an asset Ability to respond to internal requests for support and assistance in a prompt and professional manner Ability to work confidentially due to access to information of a sensitive nature Strong time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills Strong Communication and problem-solving Skills Detail Oriented Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines Follows guidelines and/or instructions Reliable and Positive Attitude Aligned with EVS values: Innovation, Passion, Excellence, Agility, Accountability, Teamwork, and Customer Success Languages : Knowledge of other languages is an asset Offer Offered wage : from $ 80 000 annual (+ depending on experience) Benefits Becoming part of the EVS Team not only means that you will receive a competitive wage in line with your skills and the market, but also healthcare benefits.
