Riverplace Health System is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team focused on providing comprehensive mental health care and support for patients in our Detox Center. In this full-time role, you will engage with individuals experiencing various mental health conditions, delivering empathetic and effective psychotherapy and related services designed to promote recovery and well-being.

Work Environment\n

This remote position allows for flexibility while ensuring that you remain closely connected to a clinical team dedicated to patient care. You will work standard hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, engaging in virtual therapy sessions and collaborating with healthcare professionals via digital platforms. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate the mental health status and needs of patients, focusing on emotional, behavioral, and social functioning.

• Design and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique circumstances, integrating best practices from the field of social work.
\n
• Provide individual and group psychotherapy tailored to address conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders.
\n
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to create a comprehensive care approach that supports patients' recovery goals.

• Continuously monitor and assess patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans based on feedback and clinical observations.
\n
• Educate and support patients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources to enhance their understanding and promote health literacy.

• Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice, ensuring patient confidentiality and informed consent throughout the clinical process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work primarily with adults dealing with a range of complex mental health issues. Our patient population requires a trauma-informed approach to care, with an emphasis on sensitivity to the challenges faced by individuals experiencing detox and recovery from substance use disorders alongside co-occurring mental health conditions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
\n
• A minimum of 3 years of experience delivering psychotherapy and mental health services, particularly in a clinical setting focused on substance use and co-occurring disorders.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective rapport with patients and collaboration with healthcare professionals.
\n
• Strong clinical acumen, including proficiency in performing comprehensive mental health assessments and developing appropriate treatment strategies.

• Experience in utilizing electronic health records (EHR) for documentation and care coordination.
\n
• A solid understanding of mental health conditions and therapeutic approaches, alongside a commitment to ethical practice.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a detox or residential treatment setting is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with telehealth practices and technologies.

• Knowledge of community resources for patient referral and support.

Compensation and Benefits\n
