Help

As an Information Technology Project Manager, you will:

• Provide advice and information on the operating system direction and telecommunications trends that affect the virtual CDC consumer response environment and resources.
• Analyzes and evaluates, on a quantitative or qualitative basis, the effectiveness of programs or operations in meeting established goals and objectives.
• Project Manager will perform all normal managerial functions for the project such as planning the overall project, developing and executing the project's budget, reviewing and monitoring work assignments.
• Provides overall planning, coordination, and direction in the establishment and accomplishment of project goals.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Applicants for the 2210 Information Technology Management series at the GS-14 grade level must have Information Technology (IT) related experience which demonstrates proficiency in the following competencies:

Minimum Qualifications : You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following:

• Managing complex IT projects involving hardware, software and information systems.
• Leading projects activities such as budgeting, risk management, system integration and oversee contracts.
• Providing technical advice on IT services, system implementation, and technical recommendations.
• Leading projects activities such as budgeting, risk management, system integration and oversee contracts.
