What You'll Do

Green Air, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Sales/Estimator to join our team in Ashland, VA. We offer a challenging work environment with the potential to grow and develop within our company. Green Air is looking for top talent in the construction industry that is willing to learn, enthusiastic and always ready for an exciting new challenge.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Effective communication skills
• Understand sales and negotiating techniques
• Develop and deliver presentations
• Read and understand schematics and blueprints
• Knowledge of HVAC components and maintenance requirements
• Organizational skills and establishing priorities
• Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
• Ability to provide technical guidance to building contractors, business owners, and government officials
• Knowledge of state and federal building codes, ordinances, and regulations
• Ability to manage contractual arrangements
• Knowledge of procurement rules and regulations
• Knowledge of budgeting, cost estimating, and fiscal management
• Ability to bid, negotiate, and close deals and contracts

Requirements

What You Bring

• HVAC and/or construction background

• Team learner and leader with a mindset of growth and development

• Customer service oriented, outgoing, and likeable personality

• Understanding of the HVAC industry, materials, and methods

• High attention to detail

• Technology savvy: estimating software and applications

• Ability to form strong relationships with customers

• 2-3 years' experience required

• Ability to pass drug and background check

• Valid Virginia driver's license
