Job Description

Position: Direct Hire Maintenance Technician
Location: High Point, NC
Shift: 1st Shift

Pay: $32/hr

Job Overview

To perform the wiring of control panels, install/program: sensors, barcode scanner, inspection camera systems, PLC’s, VFD’s etc. Troubleshoot electrical issues. Enhance machine performance by increasing in one or all of the following manners: production up, quality up, scrap rate down and /or labor cost down

Responsibilities and Duties

Assist technicians/production with electrical issues
Assist technicians/production with programming issues in regards to PLC’s, sensors, VFD’s, barcode scanners, inspection cameras etc.
Make recommendations for replacing older electronic systems with newer technologies
Maintain inventory levels for electronic devices
Enhance machine performance
Maintain documentation (OEE board, preventive maintenance log book, machine log)
Other duties assigned by supervisor or manager
