What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience.

• Industry Knowledge: Previous experience working with "Big Box" retailers (e.g., Walmart, CVS, Walgreens) is highly valued.

• Tech Savvy: Microsoft Excel skills are required (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas). Previous ERP software experience is also required.

• Mindset: A team player with excellent people skills who is open to a challenge and capable of working self-sufficiently.

• Education: An degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance is a plus.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities 

• Account Management: Manage and maintain assigned customer accounts according to company policy, including monitoring aging receivables and unapplied deductions.

• Daily Cash Operations: Apply daily cash receipts and ensure remittances align with credit terms and cash discounts.

• Billing & Reconciliations: Accurate processing of all billing, collections, and account reconciliations to resolve discrepancies.

• Claims Tracking: Maintain daily tracking logs for claims and sales orders, ensuring a minimum of weekly updates by Friday.

• Month-End Support: Utilize advanced Excel for AR reporting and perform necessary journal entries for month-end close.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Contract Administration, and Customer Service to resolve disputes and credit holds.
