This position manages customer accounts, supports month-end close, and ensures the integrity of receivables data across the South Florida region. The ideal candidate brings strong ethics, attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy in all financial processes. Reconcile accounts weekly and monthly to ensure accurate reporting and proper ledger maintenance. Maintain accounts receivable records and ensure the aging report is current; record daily collections accurately and promptly. Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly financial reports. Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with internal controls and established accounting procedures. Review customer credit limits and recommend adjustments based on purchasing and payment history. Research discrepancies, aged items, and account variances; elevate irregularities or unusual activity to the Regional Controller. Assist with the month‑end closing process and support audit readiness through complete, accurate documentation. Resolve outstanding issues with internal and external customers in a professional and timely manner. Uphold company policies that protect financial data, ensure accuracy, and maintain strong internal controls. Support team members as needed and perform all other duties as assigned. Desired qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field preferred; an equivalent combination of relevant experience (typically 4–6 years in accounts receivable or accounting roles) may be considered in place of a degree. Experience in accounting or accounts receivable. Demonstrated integrity, ethical judgment, and commitment to internal controls. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work effectively. High attention to detail and accuracy; capable of working independently. Familiarity with GAAP and standard accounting practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong written and verbal communication skills.
