Part Time Bookkeeper

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Part-Time Bookkeeper for a specialty business located in Clawson, Michigan . This is a temporary, onsite position expected to last approximately 3–4 weeks and offers a flexible part-time schedule of 20–25 hours per week. POSITION OVERVIEW The Part-Time Bookkeeper will provide hands-on accounting support during a temporary leave and help ensure day-to-day financial operations continue smoothly. The ideal candidate will have hands-on Sage Accounting experience , strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a small-team environment. This position offers flexibility in scheduling, with the opportunity to work 3–4 days per week during the company's Monday–Friday operating hours. PERKS $18/hour compensation for a temporary 3–4 week assignment Part-time schedule of 20–25 hours per week , with flexibility around days and hours 3–4 days per week onsite in convenient Clawson, Michigan location Opportunity to gain additional experience supporting day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting operations Business casual work environment with a collaborative, small-team setting RESPONSIBILITIES Support day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities during a temporary leave Enter and maintain accurate financial transactions using Sage Accounting Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger activities Review financial records for accuracy and help resolve discrepancies Maintain organized accounting documentation and records Provide general accounting support to help ensure a smooth transition during the assignment QUALIFICATIONS Hands-on Sage Accounting experience is required Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively Availability to work 20–25 hours per week, 3–4 days per week, onsite in Clawson COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This temporary, part-time position offers $18/hour for approximately 20–25 hours per week over a 3–4 week assignment. The schedule is flexible, with hours worked Monday–Friday between 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM , based on the needs of the selected candidate and the organization.
