Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented CBRF (Community-Based Residential Facility) Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our residential care facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements, and a passion for providing high-quality care to residents. As a CBRF Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines, training & managing staff, and fostering a safe, supportive environment for residents and staff alike. Duties

• Manage the overall operation of the community-based residential facility, ensuring adherence to licensing standards and safety regulations.
• Supervise staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to maintain a motivated and competent team.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote quality care, safety, and compliance with applicable laws.
• Oversee resident admissions, assessments, care planning, and discharge processes to ensure personalized and respectful service delivery.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to licensing, incident reports, staff records, and resident files in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers, social services, and families to support residents' well-being and address individual needs.
• Conduct regular audits of facility operations to identify areas for improvement and ensure continuous compliance.
• Foster a positive environment that encourages teamwork, professionalism, and compassionate resident interactions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in managing or supervising within a residential care or similar healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of state licensing regulations related to community-based residential facilities (CBRFs) or comparable programs.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in staff development and team management.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with residents, families, staff members, and regulatory agencies.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems or other documentation platforms is preferred.
• A valid administrator license or certification as required by local regulations is highly desirable; relevant training or coursework is advantageous.
