Job Opportunities at Texas State University Nontenure Line Faculty Pool - Department of Accounting (FY27) Position Title: Nontenure Line Faculty Pool - Department of Accounting (FY27) Job Posting Number: 2026147NTL Job Location: McCoy College of Business, Department of Accounting, San Marcos and Round Rock campuses; courses may be taught online. Position Description The McCoy College of Business seeks to develop a pool of candidates for potential temporary or nontenured faculty to teach Accounting courses. Temporary/nontenured faculty are appointed to teach one to four courses per semester on a semester‑by‑semester basis, depending on student demand and departmental need. Eligibility for annual reappointment is contingent upon satisfactory annual performance evaluations, continuity of funding, and departmental need. Successful candidates may teach at the San Marcos and Round Rock campuses and/or online, depending on the needs of the academic department. The position is for the fall 2026, spring 2027, and summer 2026/2027 semesters and is subject to the availability of funds.
