SUMMARY: The Family Development Specialist Supervisor is a split position which includes partial workload of family certification and a partial work load of supervisory responsibilities. FDS Supervisor is responsible for the training, evaluation and screening of potential resource parents and kinship homes. This includes conducting precertification sessions, completing family profiles, completing required documentation for family approvals, and providing home recertifications as assigned. The FDS Supervisor will supervise up to three FDS staff as well as support supervisory tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: A Master’s degree is required, preferably in the field of Social Work or a related field. Experience in child welfare, casework, or childcare is beneficial. Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
