RN Registered Nurse Staff Educator/Infection Control

A sub-acute and long-term care facility in is seeking a compassionate and experienced RN Registered Nurse Staff Educator/Infection Control to join our dedicated healthcare team. RN Registered Nurse Staff Educator/Infection Control Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement education programs for nursing staff to enhance knowledge and skills in patient care, infection prevention, and control

• Conduct infection control surveillance, identify areas of improvement, and implement appropriate measures to reduce Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAIs)

• Collaborate with the Nursing Department to develop and maintain policies and procedures related to infection control and prevention

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and overall care

• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with infection control regulations and standards

• Provide guidance and support to staff members on infection control practices and protocols

• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to stay updated on the latest infection control guidelines and best practices

RN Registered Nurse Staff Educator/Infection Control Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York

• 5 years of RN experience is required, but prior experience in infection control or staff education is desirable
