Work Environment

This position is based onsite and primarily involves direct patient interaction within a home care setting, allowing you to build meaningful relationships with patients in their own environments. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations to determine their functional status.
• Develop tailored care plans that incorporate evidence-based treatment techniques, ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care.
• Implement various therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Motivate patients during rehabilitation sessions, setting achievable goals and celebrating progress to ensure optimal patient engagement and recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress consistently, adjusting treatment strategies based on individual responses to therapy.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care, discussing cases to enhance multidisciplinary approaches.
• Educate patients on injury prevention and long-term self-care strategies to promote overall health and wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be treating orthopedic patients, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work with a diverse population, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each patient, ensuring an empathetic and highly responsive care experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution recognized by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• Current Physical Therapy License in the state of New Jersey.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably with a focus on orthopedics.
• A strong passion for rehabilitation and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
