A-Level Automotive Technician | $47-$65 Flat Rate | Weekly Pay J&T Automotive Location: Houston, TX Schedule: 5-day work week, including one Saturday per month Pay Rate: $47-$65 per flagged hour Pay Type: Flat rate Pay Schedule: Weekly, every Monday About J&T Automotive J&T Automotive is seeking an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician in Houston, TX. This position pays $47-$65 per flagged hour on a flat-rate pay plan, with pay issued every Monday. The shop works on newer makes and models and is looking for a strong diagnostic technician who can handle vehicles from initial diagnosis through completed repair. Key Responsibilities Perform advanced automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting. Diagnose and resolve drivability concerns. Read and interpret diagnostic codes and test results. Complete repairs from initial diagnosis through final repair. Perform digital vehicle inspections (DVI). Accurately document vehicle findings, inspection results, and repair recommendations. Maintain strong productivity while delivering quality repair work. Communicate effectively with the service team regarding vehicle findings and repair needs. Qualifications 8+ years of independent automotive repair experience REQUIRED. Strong automotive diagnostic and repair capabilities. Strong drivability diagnostic skills. Ability to diagnose and repair vehicles from start to finish. Ability to read diagnostic codes and interpret testing information. Experience performing digital vehicle inspections. Demonstrated productivity, organization, quality workmanship, and professional communication. Compensation & Benefits $47-$65 per flagged hour. Flat-rate compensation. Paid weekly every Monday.
