Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma backgrounds and establish appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery, resilience-building, and coping strategies tailored to each patient’s needs.

• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, facilitating discussions to aid clients in processing their trauma and developing healthier coping mechanisms.

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and case managers, to coordinate comprehensive care for all patients.

• Offer crisis intervention services and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients receive immediate and effective assistance.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and coping techniques, empowering them with essential knowledge and skills.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance interdisciplinary collaboration and professional development.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continuously elevate the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and other distressing life events. By employing a trauma-informed approach, you will help clients rebuild their lives and cultivate a profound sense of resilience and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
\n
• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage clients empathy and create a non-judgmental therapeutic space.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with computer applications to ensure accurate and efficient documentation of client information.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, particularly in trauma-focused therapy.

• Demonstrated experience delivering trauma-specific therapies and interventions, including EMDR and TF-CBT.

• A proven ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, ensuring effective crisis intervention.

• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team in a community health setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Greenleaf Health Partners offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include:
