Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for clients, including individuals, adolescents, families, and groups, tailoring interventions to meet their unique needs.

• Manage and document patient care plans efficiently, ensuring clear communication with interdisciplinary teams through various channels, including patient rounds and team meetings.

• Utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support clients in completing their individualized service plans.

• Provide case management for assigned clients, collaborating with community resources and healthcare professionals to facilitate comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at our Detox Center, you will work closely with a diverse patient population seeking support for various mental health and substance use challenges. Your role will involve helping individuals develop coping skills, build resilience, and address co-occurring disorders through targeted interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, with a focus on outpatient care preferred.

• A genuine commitment to providing compassionate and effective care to clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

While the minimum requirement is two years of clinical experience, candidates with experience in detox or substance abuse treatment settings are highly desirable.
