Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups to determine the appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Collaborating with clients to develop individualized service plans, utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other approaches tailored to client needs.

• Implementing therapeutic interventions that address the psychological, social, and educational needs of clients in alignment with their treatment goals.

• Maintaining ongoing communication with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic and integrated patient care, often participating in scheduled meetings and documentation reviews.

• Providing case management by coordinating care with hospital and community resources to ensure comprehensive support for clients.

• Completing all documentation in an ethical and timely manner as per departmental standards, enabling effective tracking of patient progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve clients facing various mental health challenges seeking detoxification and recovery support. You will assist individuals experiencing acute distress requiring mental health counseling and intervention, focusing on their holistic well-being while they navigate the recovery process.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A current and valid license in one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.
\n
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling or social work.
\n
• A commitment to providing empathetic and culturally competent care to diverse populations.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in a detox center or working with substance use disorders is highly valued. Being familiar with telehealth technology and having advanced skillsets in evidence-based behavioral therapies will be considered advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
