Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments to understand patients' backgrounds, challenges, and goals.

• Coordinating care by collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and ensuring seamless communication between all parties involved in patient care.

• Providing individual, family, or group psychotherapeutic treatment tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

• Consulting with team members to develop effective treatment plans that align with best practices in mental health.

• Liaising with community agencies and resources to facilitate access to additional support services.

• Documenting treatment plans and clinical notes accurately and thoroughly in compliance with medical records policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will primarily serve adult and geriatric populations, with the potential to expand services to child and adolescent populations in the future. You will work with clients facing diverse challenges, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, grief, and trauma. You will play a crucial role in empowering these individuals to find hope and healing.

Qualifications\n

We are looking for a self-motivated and empathetic professional with:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• Strong grasp of various theoretical and clinical models relevant to marriage and family therapy.

• Exceptional skills in building therapeutic alliances with clients, fostering trust and rapport.

• Proficiency in writing clear and comprehensive clinical notes and treatment summaries.

• Knowledge and adherence to social work ethics and professional standards.

• Experience in performing mental status exams and recognizing changes in clients’ mental health.

• Ability to coordinate care with various community agencies and a proactive approach to advocacy.

Preferred Experience\n
