Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity and impact of mood disorders in clients, utilizing standardized measurement tools and clinical interviews.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that reflect their individual goals, needs, and treatment preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate meaningful change in clients' lives.

• Provide educational resources and support to clients and their families, ensuring they understand mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices.

• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment journey, adjusting treatment plans based on evolving needs and outcomes.

• Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated and comprehensive care to clients.

• Stay abreast of advancements and research in the field of mental health to enhance treatment effectiveness and contribute to ongoing professional development.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of all interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will work closely with a diverse clientele to ensure culturally competent care that meets each individual's unique background and life circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.

• Proficient in evidence-based treatment methodologies tailored to mood disorders.
\n
• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology principles, enabling collaboration with psychiatrists on treatment plans.

• Demonstrated ability to achieve successful treatment outcomes with clients dealing with mood disorders.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients from various backgrounds.
