Business Development Representative

We're looking for a proactive Business Development Representative to expand SERVPRO's footprint across our local commercial and residential markets. In this role, you'll map out target accounts, build relationships with key decision-makers, and establish SERVPRO as their go-to restoration partner.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

• Maintain a high-velocity daily rhythm of 15–20 new in-person cold calls and 15–20 strategic follow-ups.
• Visit insurance agencies, hotels, multi-family complexes, and commercial facilities to drop off marketing collateral and build brand familiarity.
• Utilize social media platforms, local business journals, and public records to identify facility managers and regional directors for high-value targets.
• Input all leads and contact data into designated Work Operating System in real-time to ensure seamless tracking and management follow-up.
• Perform 12 Emergency Ready Programs (ERPs) annually, helping businesses document their facility details before a disaster strikes.
• Identify and collect the requirements for "Approved Vendor Lists" for regional property groups to ensure we are the "first call" for their entire portfolio.
• Assist management in coordinating Continuing Education (CE) classes for local insurance adjusters and agents.
• This position requires a proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Other duties as assigned

Formal Education/Training:

• Bachelor's degree-or current enrollment in Bachelor's program-in marketing, business, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience may also be considered.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements:

This position routinely works in a standard professional office environment requiring the ability to bend, stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time. This position will involve driving in urban areas and managing parking in downtown markets for client meetings, networking events, and other sales activities. While performing occasional job-site visits, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of conditions such as heat, cold, noxious odors or noise levels.

Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours and Travel Requirements:

This is a part-time position working varying hours between 7:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday, 25 hours per week. Flexibility in hours may be needed for evening and/or weekend events, depending upon the business needs. Compensation: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
