Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.In the role of Proposal Manager, we'll count on you to:Support pursuit teams in creating and implementing effective win strategies (capture planning)Facilitate pursuit teams to develop persuasive proposal and interview materialsDevelop and manage proposal schedules and confirm complianceEngage the appropriate marketing services resources in pursuit teamsLead quality reviews of proposal and interview materialsFacilitate debriefs to identify improvement opportunities and to measure overall competitivenessDeconstruct and file proposal and presentation material upon submittalTrain and mentor employees on business development and marketing best practicesArticulate HDR's capabilities and competitive advantagesCollaboratively develop marketing strategies, client development plans, and pursuit capture plansLead marketing/proposal/interview efforts for pursuits, including crafting winning strategies and preparing of proposals and presentationsManage the timely production of quality marketing deliverables, following HDR’s pursuit process and quality procedures for document productionPlan, facilitate, and document pursuit strategy meetingsPerform market research/market analysisSupport the development and execution of interview preparation strategies, including developing presentations, and coaching teams through mock presentation and Q&A sessionsDevelop proposals in Adobe InDesign and coordinate with graphic designers for the creation of pursuit figures/graphicsPartner closely with technical staff to write and tailor pursuit qualification materialsContribute to marketing process improvement initiativesSupport the maintenance of up-to-date data in HDR’s EBS database systemParticipate in industry events as appropriatePreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related fieldKnowledge of Washington’s transportation marketDeep knowledge of the A/E/C industry's standard approach to procurement of professional servicesDemonstrated ability to motivate and inspire othersAbility and desire to travel and engage with others in-personDemonstrated experience in writing compelling content based on information from technical staff#LI-CV1QualificationsRequired Qualifications A minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience Demonstrated "self-starter" with a history of completing projects with limited oversight Experience in sales and developing effective win strategies Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesignWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
