Host

Rustic Canyon in Santa Monica is looking for a Host Tuesday-Saturday, with the ability to pick up as needed. Must have previous fine dining experience and experience with ResyOS and Toast POS. Key responsibilities include: 

• Welcoming guests in a warm and friendly manner.
• Ascertaining their dining needs.
• Answering the phone and responding to reservation requests.
• Seating guests and effectively managing the seating chart.
• Monitoring restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow.
• Responding to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Performing opening and closing duties, as needed,
• Assisting others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
• Helping fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships.
