GS-7 Qualification To be eligible for the GS-7 level, you must have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 level in Federal service. Specialized Experience (GS-7) Communicating with debtors on payment plans, and procedures regarding financial litigation; processing debt collection for criminal and/or civil debts; and drafting letters, forms and/or reports to initiate the collection of debts. GS-8 Qualification To be eligible at the GS-8 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-7 level. Specialized Experience (GS-8) Performing internal control audits of financial litigation and/or debt collection; investigating financial assets and transactions and/or providing analyses of information from debtors; interpreting and/or enforcing judgments in criminal and/or civil cases pertaining to financial litigation to include criminal fines, assessments, interests, penalties, restitution, criminal forfeitures, bond forfeitures and/or court costs.
