Teachers Now is Hiring Long-Term Substitute Speech Therapists!

Teachers Now is seeking licensed Substitute Speech Therapists (SLP) to support students in local schools throughout Richmond, Spring, Houston, and The Woodlands, TX . This is a long-term assignment offering a competitive $300 per day pay rate for professionals who are passionate about helping students improve their communication and language skills.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM (school hours may vary by campus)

As a Long-Term Substitute Speech Therapist, you will provide speech and language therapy services to students, support individualized treatment goals, collaborate with school staff, and maintain required documentation while ensuring continuity of services.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students

• Implement student IEP goals and therapy plans

• Maintain accurate therapy documentation and progress notes

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and special education staff

• Foster a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment

• Communicate with families and school personnel as needed

Qualifications

• Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required

• Experience working with school-aged children preferred

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage caseloads and maintain accurate documentation
