IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Regional IT Specialist to provide comprehensive end-user technology support for employees across the North American region, with occasional global remote support responsibilities. This onsite, five-days-a-week role is a critical part of the internal IT function, requiring a blend of strong technical expertise and exceptional interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at building relationships with end users and executive staff alike, and takes pride in delivering concierge-level service. From hands-on hardware troubleshooting and system imaging to audio/visual support and infrastructure assistance, this role offers a broad and dynamic scope of technical responsibility. Responsibilities Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction across all support interactions Report to customers and management on status, resources, needs, and issue resolutions Diagnose and repair computer systems and mobile devices including Windows, Mac, Android, and iPhone platforms Deliver concierge-level VIP and executive support with professionalism and discretion Reimage systems and perform data migrations as needed Provide limited end-user training and education on standard applications Deliver remote support to users across various locations and time zones Implement hardware and software rollouts, including new hardware delivery, setup, and under-desk installation Support a variety of applications, security agents, and IT services Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to maintain existing environments and assist with local physical changes Install and troubleshoot printers and peripheral devices Provide supporting assistance for audio/visual and physical conference room technologies Assist with telecom and network equipment racking, cabling, and related tasks Mentor and train more junior Regional IT Specialists Lead small projects and provide regular status updates to stakeholders Skills Demonstrated ability to engage executive-level employees with concierge-quality support Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to work both collaboratively within cross-functional teams and independently to meet deadlines Strong aptitude for learning and applying new technologies quickly Solid understanding of standard IT support and engineering principles and practices Proficiency with IT ticketing systems for documentation and workload management Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently under competing deadlines Willingness to actively contribute to team goals and share knowledge and experience with colleagues Experience Proven experience in a desktop support or end-user IT support role Hands-on experience troubleshooting Windows and macOS environments Experience supporting mobile devices including iOS and Android platforms Prior experience providing VIP or executive-level technical support preferred Experience participating in or leading hardware and software deployment projects Familiarity with audio/visual conference room technologies and network/telecom infrastructure support Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a technology-related field preferred CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent industry certification preferred Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or similar Mac support certification a plus ITIL Foundation certification or familiarity with ITIL practices is a plus This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay someone for this position: Min:$33.00 Mid:$35.00 Max:$37.00 Temporary job opportunities align well with people who are looking for career flexibility and less traditional ways of working, but at the same time are people driven to deliver amazing work in high-profile situations.
