As Logistics Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the management of supply chain operations. This role is a ground-floor opportunity that prepares you for a lifelog career in logistics. The person in this role ensures that all aspects of a logistics team are coordinated to meet customer demands effectively and efficiently. The Logistics Coordinator’s responsibility encompasses overseeing and facilitating the entire life cycle of a product, from acquisition to distribution.

Duties and Responsibilities

Planning and monitoring inbound and outbound shipments

•

Communicate shipment status with customers through email and phone

•

Resolve shipment discrepancies in real time

•

Communicate with account managers and operations team as needed.

•

Input accurate shipment updates into multiple systems

•

Preparing and maintaining detailed logistics documentation and reporting.

•

Complying with all company, local, state and federal transportation regulations.

•

Interface daily with customer service teams to work on order management and troubleshooting.

•

Evaluate existing logistical procedures and refine them for great efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

•

High School Diploma or Equivalent work experience

•

Prior experience in logistics or transportation preferred.

•

Strong proficiency with logistics and supply chain management software.

•

Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills

•

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks

•

Strong communication skills and the ability to handle the flow of information and data securely and confidential

•

Data entry and/or customer service experience preferred.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

•

List any knowledge, skills and abilities needed, to include both hard and soft skills

Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time

•

Frequent use of a computer, phone, and other office equipment

•

Must be able to stand, climb, bend, lift up to 50lbs, and work in varied environments.

Working Environment:

•

Work may occasionally be performed in high-energy, fast paced environments.

•

Position may require meetings and calls outside of standard hours.

•

Environment includes open workspaces, meeting rooms, an occasional noise from collaborative activities.
