Work Environment\n

Our therapists operate during regular business hours, Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and nuanced assessments of clients experiencing mood disorders, focusing on the severity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that are aligned with their specific needs, goals, and personal preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to provide effective interventions tailored for mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and implement effective self-care strategies to promote recovery.

• Monitor client progress rigorously, making real-time adjustments to treatment plans in alignment with therapeutic goals.

• Work cohesively with psychiatrists and medical professionals to ensure a seamless continuum of care that addresses all aspects of each client’s mental health.

• Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in mood disorder treatment to continuously enhance therapy techniques.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential records of all client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse population of clients primarily facing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our clients come from various backgrounds, each bringing unique experiences and perspectives that enrich our therapeutic environment. Your role as a therapist will be integral in fostering a safe space for open dialogue and healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT within the State of New York.
