The focus is on ensuring that patients, families, and significant others receive individualized high-quality, safe patient care. This role practices in a clinical environment administered by Nurse Managers and other leaders. Support is provided through a shared governance model. The framework for practice is steered by a professional practice model and evidence-based practice and research. All RN Clinical Nurses Critical Care are required to be licensed and knowledgeable in nursing practice as outlined by relevant regulations. They must implement the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards.
