Field Service Tech

Our client is a global leader in exhaust gas abatement technology for the semiconductor industry! These systems make it possible to safely manufacture the chips powering everything from smartphones to AI data centers. As they continue to grow, they're looking for a Field Service Technician to join their team and become the go-to technical expert for a portfolio of high-profile semiconductor manufacturing customers across North America. This isn't a desk job. You'll be on the road, in the sub-fab, hands-on with vacuum and gas abatement systems that keep some of the most advanced manufacturing facilities in the world running safely and efficiently. Why This Role Join a growing team in a specialized, high-demand niche within the semiconductor industry Genuine career runway - This opening exists because current team members have been promoted Work with cutting-edge equipment supporting some of the most advanced manufacturing operations in the world Competitive compensation, including 401(k), commissions/bonuses, profit share, KPI-based incentives, and cell phone & vehicle allowances Autonomy and variety What You'll Do Install, start up, and commission new gas abatement and vacuum systems at customer sites Troubleshoot and repair equipment in the field, diagnosing both mechanical and process-related issues Read engineering drawings and apply electrical & mechanical troubleshooting skills to solve problems on the fly Build long-term relationships with customers, some of whom will rely on you as their trusted technical contact What You'll Bring A Bachelor's (or equivalent hands-on experience) in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related Engineering discipline Mechanical and electrical aptitude - you're comfortable getting hands-on and figuring out how systems work Comfort working with hazardous materials and wearing required PPE, including full respiratory protection Willingness and ability to travel extensively across North America (up to 50-70%) Prior experience in abatement, semiconductor fab equipment, or vacuum systems is a strong plus No prior abatement experience?
