MSP IT Customer Success Manager

IT Customer Success Manager (Technical) Type: Direct Hire Salary Base up to 115K a year plus Bonus. Location: Onsite – Garner, NC. We're seeking a hands‑on IT Customer Success Manager to serve as the primary technical advisor for managed services clients. This role combines technical account management, infrastructure consulting, and customer relationship management. Responsibilities Serve as the primary technical contact for assigned clients. Build trusted relationships with SMB owners and C-level executives. Conduct technology reviews and develop strategic IT roadmaps. Provide technical guidance on servers, networking, cloud, virtualization, and security. Assist with troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and coordinate escalations. Manage technical projects, upgrades, and client implementations. Recommend solutions that improve performance, security, and reliability. Partner with engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Experience in Technical Account Management, Customer Success, Systems Administration, and working in an MSP environment. Strong hands‑on knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange, SQL Server, VMware vSphere and/or Hyper‑V. Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms. Solid networking skills including routing, VLANs, VPNs, QoS, firewalls (SonicWall/Cisco), and wireless technologies. Experience supporting PC/server hardware, VoIP, backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity best practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business solutions. Project management experience and relevant certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, or AWS/Azure) are a plus.
