SOURCING MANAGER

TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMPANY

ROLE IS FULLY REMOTE

$48-55/hr, $8,448-$9,680/month COMPENSATION RATE (depending on experience)

Our client is a large telecommunications company.

SOURCING MANAGER

Team Details: This role will support the Marketing Procurement Group. Role is responsible for executing main service agreements, statements of work, letter agreements, and order forms.

Responsibilities will include:

• Leading sourcing activities of moderate complexity and providing support for complex or strategic initiatives.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing processes including requirements gathering, RFP/RFI development, proposal evaluation, scenario analysis, supplier selection, and contract drafting, negotiation and execution to deliver optimal value and terms.
• Define commodity and supplier strategies
• Adopt best-practice commodity management and strategic sourcing processes
• Track category performance relative to targets and conduct supplier reviews for assigned suppliers
• Communicate clearly with procurement leadership, business stakeholders and team about strategies, contracts, and project updates.
• Provide support for highly complex or strategic initiatives

Assigned tasks may include:

• Analyze supply market and current supply base
• Build business case
• Build RFx and auction
• Negotiate contract provisions
• Track and report category performance against targets
• On-board suppliers
• Conduct supplier performance reviews
• Monitor contract execution
• Identify and recommend future sourcing opportunities.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Qualifications:

• At least 7 years of strategic sourcing experience required. (10+ years is preferred)
• Experience in Indirect Procurement is strongly preferred; candidates with Marketing experience are especially encouraged to apply.
• Leveraged AI-powered procurement tools, spend analytics, and market intelligence to generate insights, identify savings opportunities, and support data-driven sourcing decisions.
• Strong analytical skills and competency with Excel are required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Duration: ASAP to start, to run for 6 months, with chance to extend.

Daily Schedule: M-F, 40 hours a week, no OT anticipated.

Location: Role is fully remote – candidates in Pacific/Central/Mountain time zones are preferred.

Hardware: Client to provide.

Onboarding requirements: Client requires a background check before start.
