Founded in 2007, Divert is a cleantech company providing customers with a clean and efficient solution to organic waste...and we’ve been at it ever since. In the U.S. 1 out of every 6 Americans is food insecure. Meanwhile, 1 out of every 7 trucks of fresh food delivered to a grocery store is either landfilled or recycled . This further results in a massive impact on the environment where 25% of all freshwater consumed, 21% of all US farmland utilized and 500 million barrels of oil are wasted. We are aggressively solving the food crisis. As the leading provider of unsold food solutions to major retailers in the U.S., Divert is positioned to fundamentally change the way unsold food is managed. Here’s how you can be a part of that change Job Description The Role You are a strategic, empathetic individual who will guide strong teams through high growth and development. You will help enable an evolving and rapid-growth business through identifying opportunities to develop and improve people infrastructure. This position is not a traditional Human Resources role and we are open to non-HR leaders. The work above is successful only if done while preserving a great culture and retaining great people. Key Responsibilities Define and drive Divert’s people & culture practices in a manner that scales along with the company. Be the visionary and the enabler for the entire talent lifecycle: Attract/hire: figure out how to get great talent from all over the world to come to Divert to support our mission and bring them through an equitable hiring process Onboard: build and execute effective and efficient onboarding experience for new employees Develop: identify and support learning and dev’t needs for all employees (group vs 1:1 vs team-based) Retain: build programs to retain key talent; ensure regular cadence of talent and succession planning Build and deliver great pay and benefits programs that support our employees and their families What you will offer You've done this before-- or have seen it done before. Qualifications Education/Qualifications/Experience/Skills Minimum of Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program, preferably with a focus in Business Management, Communications, or similar 8 to 12 years experience Strong organizational and leadership skills Strong problem-solving abilities Strong interpersonal and communication skills Additional Information The ideal candidate...
