About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Industry Lead for Retail. The successful candidate will be tasked with supporting a portfolio of key partners within the retail industry, managing a team of sales and account professionals, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a focus on maintaining strong relationships, achieving sales quotas, and operationalizing long-term strategies into actionable goals for the team. The VP will also be responsible for developing the team's AI fluency, influencing new process adoption, and ensuring the team is proficient in Salesforce and Excel. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and the ability to represent the company with professionalism and credibility in various interactions is essential. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of people management experience, with a proven track record of mentoring and coaching others to success. A background of at least 8 years in new business and account management within digital media, advertising, or related industries is required, along with a strong understanding of media performance metrics and advertising KPIs. The ideal candidate will have advanced fluency with AI tools, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and a history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas. Preferred qualifications include strong collaboration skills, the ability to translate strategic direction into tactical plans, and a deep understanding of the retail industry and its key players.
