Content Creator & Video Editor

DOPE Marketing | Full-Time | In-Office | Eagan, MN

DOPE Marketing is looking for a creative, fast-moving Content Creator & Video Editor to own and produce content across our organic social channels.

We need someone who can see an opportunity, create the concept, grab a camera, edit the footage and turn it into content worth watching.

This is not a role where you wait for someone to hand you footage or tell you what to work on.

What You’ll Do

• Create short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube

• Film and edit Reels, Shorts and other social content

• Edit long-form video, interviews, podcasts and educational content

• Turn long-form footage into multiple short-form pieces

• Create product videos for our print and marketing products

• Create software demos, walkthroughs and feature videos

• Create organic social and paid ad creative alongside our marketing team

• Film employees, leadership, products, production and events

• Develop concepts, hooks and scripts

• Find content opportunities without waiting for an assignment

• Help manage a consistent organic social content calendar

Who We’re Looking For

You have experience doing this and a portfolio that proves it.

You’re creative, quick, resourceful and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You can manage yourself, maintain consistent output and find things to create even when your manager is out of the office.

You should be:

• Strong at both filming and editing

• Experienced with short-form social content

• Able to create content from concept through final edit

• Comfortable creating product and software videos

• Self-directed and highly productive

• Able to take direct feedback, make changes and keep moving

• Current on social trends, hooks and editing styles

• Comfortable using AI and modern creative tools

Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Descript, Claude and other AI creative tools is a plus.

Portfolio Required

Show us what you’ve made.

We’re especially interested in seeing short-form content you’ve produced, product videos, software videos, ad creative and examples you’ve taken from concept through final edit.
