Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1-2 years preferred License: MO or compact license required Certifications: BCLS, NIH required Must-Have: Cardiac telemetry skills Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias Description: The Telemetry unit provides care to patients requiring cardiac monitoring and interventions. Nurses are expected to maintain a patient ratio of 1:5-6. The unit primarily cares for adults with conditions such as renal failure and unstable cardiac issues. Nurses will be trained in peritoneal dialysis and are expected to support patients through this process. Weekend shifts are required; nurses must work two weekend shifts every other weekend. Travelers may float within similar units based on facility needs.
