Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' unique needs and develop individualized therapy strategies to aid them in achieving their goals for functional independence

Engage in Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nurses to provide holistic care

Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and caregivers effective therapy methods to promote progress and recovery at home

Monitor and Document Progress: Evaluate clinical outcomes, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to ensure patient success

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university

Opportunities for continuing education or post-graduate certifications are available and encouraged

Active OTR (Registered Occupational Therapist) license required

Certification from NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is a must
