What You'll Be Responsible For Conduct both routine and advanced laboratory tests in areas like chemistry, hematology, and immunology while following established protocols. Evaluate test results for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and carry out routine maintenance as well as calibrations on laboratory instruments. Assist in the collection of specimens, preparing samples for respective testing requirements. Meticulously document all laboratory processes, train incoming staff or students, and uphold the highest standards of lab quality. Ensure a safe, clean work environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards. Education & Credentials Possess a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree, and be prepared to obtain ASCP/AMT certification. Certifications ASCP or AMT Clinical Laboratory Science Board Certification must be obtained within one year of hire. Current certification must be maintained throughout your employment.
