Educational Background A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification, accompanied by preparations for ASCP/AMT certification. Certification Requirements Achieve ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment. Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
