Education Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent degree in allied health, combined with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. Certifications Attainment of ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required within the first year of employment.
