Duties

• Prepare and cook sautéed dishes, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
• Demonstrate knife skills and sautéing techniques such as pan-frying, stir-frying, and deglazing
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including burners, ovens, grills, and food prep tools
• Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations and sanitizing procedures to maintain a clean work environment
• Support food production for high-volume service periods while maintaining consistency and quality control
• Collaborate with team members in the kitchen environment and maintain a positive attitude
• Maintain inventory levels of ingredients specific to sautéed dishes and communicate supply needs promptly

Prefered Experience

• Culinary experience in a fast-paced restaurant or fine dining environment with a focus on sautéing or similar cooking methods
• Demonstrated expertise in food preparation, braising, poaching, grilling, and other cooking techniques
• Knowledge of food safety management practices, including sanitizing procedures and proper food handling
• Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment safely and effectively during high-volume production
• Background in recipe adherence and meal preparation within the food industry setting
• Knife skills combined with high-volume production experience to ensure efficiency during busy service times
