Local Contract CT Technologist - $113 per hour

Overview Staff Today is seeking a local contract CT Technologist for a local contract job in Mammoth Lakes, California. Responsibilities Performs a variety of Radiographic and Computed Tomography procedures at a skilled technical level, applying prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnosis. Performs Radiographic, CT, and fluoroscopic examinations (pediatric, adult, trauma, routine, portables, STAT, surgery) as needed. Assists Radiologist with diagnostic CT procedures and documents information for physicians to dictate. Ensures quality assurance for department equipment (tracking mechanical failures, submitting service requests, ensuring equipment is in good condition). Monitors inventory and supplies and maintains appropriate stock levels. Supports Radiologist or medical staff with special diagnostic procedures while practicing safe operation of equipment. Verifies exam requests and consents; may cover in the Orthopedic clinic for part of the time. Who You Are Detail oriented Friendly Collaborative team player Flexible Qualifications California Registered Radiologic Technologist license required. California Registered Fluoroscopy permit required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required. CT, X-ray, Fluoroscopy experience required. Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist qualification and requirements: Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). 1+ years’ CT work experience. Active, current state license. American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS for Health Care Providers. Additional certifications may be required.
