Role Purpose

The primary purpose is to deliver value-add sourcing services to clients in a structured, professional and consistent manner.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an Expert to join the Marketing Services Sourcing team. The Sourcing Expert needs to be a dynamic, highly client-focused individual with proven experience within Marketing Services.

The individual will have experience in working with the main suppliers in the Americas and globally of Marketing Services.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Lead clients through end-to-end lifecycle of category strategy development, issuance of competitive tenders, and compliant contract negotiation and execution.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on supplier marketing offerings, providing insights into strategies and developing innovative solutions.
• Supporting the marketing global sourcing lead and category managers in conducting sourcing initiatives — including events, experiential, print, media buying, advertising, sponsorships, etc. — which vary in terms of complexity, scope and scale, both global and domestic.
• Managing the process of market tenders and subsequent evaluation of bid proposals across a cross-functional team to determine supplier selection.
• Understanding business requirements and shaping deals to meet those requirements.
• Drafting contracts based on standard terms and conditions.
• Negotiating contracts to achieve optimal commercial terms.
• Maintaining market awareness of the marketing and advertising landscape and contributing to sourcing area plans and business development.
• Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with our business partners, key suppliers, and multiple client groups.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required. (Supply Chain and/or MBA would be a plus).
• Minimum of 5+ years' experience in relevant experience in procurement and the marketing profession.
• Proven capability of running multi-million-dollar sourcing projects
• Experience in understanding contracts and contract drafting, with limited requirement for specialist legal support
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong proficiency in data analysis, pivot tables, and PowerPoint presentations
• Client/stakeholder focus within the corporate environment with the gravitas to influence senior stakeholders and executive project sponsors
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, often to tight deadlines, and deliver results
• Experience in working with market leading sourcing tools and systems
• Professional team player, motivated and highly flexible with dedication towards delivering meaningful results

What We Offer We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for New York City Metro Area is $120,000 to $173,400, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, qualifications, skills, location and applicable employment laws.
