Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (fully onsite)

We are seeking an HR Assistant to provide administrative and employee support within a Human Resources department. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build or continue their career in Human Resources while gaining experience supporting employees and HR operations.

Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Human Resources team.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding general HR questions, policies, procedures, and available resources.
- Assist with employee relations documentation, correspondence, and recordkeeping.
- Maintain confidential employee files and HR information while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with onboarding, employee changes, and other HR-related processes.
- Enter, update, and maintain employee information within HR systems and databases.
- Prepare reports, documents, spreadsheets, and other HR materials as needed.
- Provide professional customer service to employees, managers, and other internal departments.
- Assist with additional HR and administrative projects as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field OR approximately 5 years of equivalent professional experience.
- Previous Human Resources, employee relations, administrative, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in English.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive employee information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, professional environment.
- Must be comfortable working fully on-site in Hartford, CT Monday through Friday.
