## RECREATION SERVICES FIELD SUPERVISORApplyremote type: Field-Basedlocations: NY Brooklyn / Stillwell Avenuetime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R2026-6346**JOB PURPOSE:**The Recreation Services Field Supervisor will provide regular oversite of CenterLight’s contracted Alternative Care Site’s.The Recreation Services Field Supervisor will also participate in the day-to-day supervision of the Day Health Center and assist the management team with ensuring that all administrative duties are covered.**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Provide direct supervision of contracted alternative care sites including: + Direct on-site supervision of operations and participant care + Review and on-site observation of programming and scheduling. + Review of attendance logs and site care plans* Ensures contracted alternative care site audits are completed and recommended actions have been adopted. + Reassesses for performance as necessary.* Communicates with contracted alternative care sites regarding grievances and service determination requests.* Provides PACE education to contracted alternative care site staff.* Direct supervision of site level clinical staff.* Maintain a clean, safe, and inspiring site environment, ensuring compliance with all building, health, and other regulatory codes and requirements.* Maintain records and report on time utilization of all hourly employees as well metrics specified by the Site Director on-site.* Ensure timely and consistent receipt of and response to communications from participants and external parties (including providers, payers, vendors, and prospects).* Maintaining records and productivity reports as needed.* Performs consistently with the organization’s mission and philosophy.* Performs job responsibilities according to the organization’s policies. + Seeks clarification when needed.* Assumes responsibility for assignments given, seeks supervision appropriately, and is accountable for work performance. Meets productivity guidelines.* Maintains proper documentation (updated, timely, legible) related to patient care, whether paper or electronic.* Maintains HIPAA standards and confidentiality of PHI.* Supports staff, student, and volunteer orientation and ongoing in-service education as requested.* Supports organizational activities by participating in quality improvement activities, special projects, internal and/or external committees, community activities, and other duties as assigned.* Serves as a role model for peers and colleagues.* Assumes responsibility for professional growth and development; maintains and upgrades professional knowledge and practice skills.* Treats other CenterLight employees respectfully and facilitates an environment of teamwork.* Initiates, if appropriate, incident reporting process, and participates in incident investigation and reporting as applicable.* Performs general office duties in connection with job responsibilities, including but not limited to photocopies, faxing, typing, filing, and phone calls.* Makes the needs of participants a central focus and finds innovative ways to provide an exceptional experience.* Develops and maintains positive “customer” relationships + “customer” is defined as co-workers, participants, visitors, vendors, and supervisors.* Ensures that direct reports conduct their duties according to applicable rules and regulations as well as the organization’s policies and procedures.* Evaluates the work performance and competency of direct reports. + This includes ongoing informal feedback/counseling/support and completion of annual performance reviews.* Holds staff accountable for their individual performance.* Follows the organization’s policies regarding disciplinary action. + Engages Human Resources as needed for guidance on disciplinary actions and terminations.* Develops individual professional development plans with direct reports, including the identification of in-service training needs and interests.* Investigates and resolves employee grievances and complaints. + Engages with Human Resources as appropriate.**Schedule:** 8:30AM – 5:30PM | Monday - Friday**Weekly Hours:** 40**QUALIFICATIONS:****Education:**Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation or related field required.**Experience:*** Three to five (3-5) years of experience in Recreation.* Experience in working independently without significant oversight and or direction from a supervisor.* Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with the elderly**Other:*** Must obtain and maintain a New York City Food Protection Certification within six months of hire. Must maintain certification throughout employment.* Positive attitude and outlook with the ability to multi-task in a constantly changing environment.* Flexibility one weekend to meet deadlines.* A highly motivated and self-driven individual willing to work within a strict deadline environment.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office products; report development and strong writing skills* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.* Customer Service-oriented with clinical solid management skills* Chinese Bilingual skills are strongly preferred.**Physical Requirements**Individuals must be able to sustain specific physical requirements essential to the job. This includes, but is not limited to:* **Standing** – Duration of up to 6 hours a day.* **Sitting/Stationary positions** – Sedentary position for up to 6-8 hours a day for consecutive hours/periods of time.* **Lifting/Push/Pull** – Up to 50 pounds of equipment, baggage, supplies, and ability to lift patients safely, using OSHA guidelines, etc.* **Bending/Squatting** – Have to be able to bend or squat to care for patients safely, use medical supplies, etc.* **Stairs/Steps/Walking/Climbing** – Must be able to maneuver stairs safely, climb up/down and walk to access work areas. Position requires an individual to be able to travel, walk between sites/locations and work areas throughout the day.* **Agility/Fine Motor Skills** - Must demonstrate agility and fine motor skills to operate and activate equipment, devices, instruments, and tools (i.e., typing, use of medical supplies, equipment, etc.)* **Sight/Visual Requirements** – Must be able to visually assess patients, read orders and type/write documentation, etc., accurately.* **Audio Hearing and Motor Skills (language) Requirements** – Must be able to listen attentively and document information from patients, community members, providers, etc., and intake information through audio processing with accuracy.
