Contract | Days/Nights Rotating | 3×12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM-7:30 PM / 7:00 PM-7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a stepdown/IMC/PCU setting, with potential to float to additional units caring for the same patient population
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation, achieving an acceptable score on both
• Administer and monitor care in accordance with unit protocols, including cardiovascular and telemetry standards
• Participate in holiday coverage rotation, expected to work at least every other holiday
• Complete required annual hands-on competency training and pre-start modules as directed by the facility

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license - permanent Ohio license or compact state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 12 months of permanent employment experience in the specialty applying for
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Active ACLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Active NIHSS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required (co-worker references will not be accepted)

• Experience concentrated within a single facility or unit preferred
• Familiarity with cardiovascular/telemetry patient populations
• Prior travel nursing experience in a large academic or health system environment

• Opportunity to gain experience in a high-acuity stepdown environment at a nationally recognized medical campus
