CNC Set Up Machinist

Shift: 1std shift
Pay: $27-30/hr (BOE)
Where: near eastside of Indianapolis
Evaluation Hire

Duties:

Will operate various CNC controlled machines
Setup operations on various CNC machines including ID, OD, and profile grinders.
Will make off-set and wheel changes to CNC machine setup parameters as needed to maintain quality.
Will use Guardian ERP system to control part quantities and location.
In conjunction with manufacturing engineering will aid other less experienced CNC machine operators with setups and operation of various CNC machining and grinding machines.

Qualifications:

4-6 years of previous experience in a CNC production grinding facility
Ability to perform setups of new and existing parts on CNC lathes, OD grinder, ID grinder, profile grinders and milling centers.
Experience with Okuma, Okamoto, Haas and Studer Controls a plus.
Ability to operate multiple CNC at the same time
Ability to read and understand all necessary measuring devices to verify parts meet all applicable requirements (ex: calipers, micrometers, depth mics, comparators, CMM, visions systems etc
