This onsite opportunity is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership of the month-end close process, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting while working in a collaborative environment.The Senior Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, supporting compliance with accounting standards, and partnering with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency.Responsibilities:Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activityLead month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reportingPrepare financial statements and supporting schedules for management reviewAnalyze financial results and investigate account variancesMaintain compliance with GAAP and company accounting policiesAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as neededSupport internal and external audit requests by preparing documentation and schedulesMonitor and improve internal controls and accounting proceduresPartner with cross-functional teams to support operational and financial initiativesIdentify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficienciesAssist with special projects and other accounting responsibilities as assignedQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field4+ years of progressive accounting experienceStrong understanding of GAAP and financial reportingExperience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)Advanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelCPA or CPA-track preferred but not requiredStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
